I have put my words in your mouth… (Isaiah 51:16)
Thought: Why does God put His words in our mouths? The reason He does this is so that we can participate in bringing His purpose, His plans, and His kingdom into this world. The spoken word has great power. God used words to bring the world into existence and to bring order into chaos. Today the word of God has the same ability to bring order into chaos. For the word of God to work, it has to be released; it has to be spoken. Let us not hesitate to speak the Lord’s life-giving words that He has put in our mouths over our families, over our loved ones, and over all our concerns. The spoken word will bring the life of God into every one of our situations.
Prayer: Father, I thank You that Your words are FULL of life and vitality and today I speak the words You have put in my mouth over my family, over my children, and over all my situations. Lord, as we start this new week, I speak these words over my household. The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His face shine upon you, the Lord be gracious unto you and give you His peace, and the Lord cover you with His precious name, JESUS”. This blessing I declare in Jesus’ precious name, amen.
