Prayer and declaration: Heavenly Father, we thank You that You have created our children with a purpose, a purpose conceived from the foundation of the earth concerning them. Lord, this school year we pray the lives of our children will be aligned to this divine purpose and there will not be a day that they live misaligned to this divine destiny. Yes, Lord, we pray that You will give our children the grace to channel their energy, their creativity, and their time in ways that will keep them in step with Your purpose for them. Lord, even as our children channel their energy, their creativity, and their time toward their God-given purpose we pray that they will find joy and delight in doing so. We thank You that this year our children will live their lives productively and with purpose because it is going to be You who will be the one fashioning every moment of their lives. Today we make this declaration over our children: “In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit” (Isaiah 27:6). In Jesus’ precious name, amen.
