Prayer: Heavenly Father, this morning we thank You that the thoughts You have toward our children are precious (Psalm 139:17). Lord, we thank You that You have thought through every moment of our children’s days for this school year; You have not only thought about these days but, Lord, You have written all these days in a book (Psalm 139:16). Father, as a parent I rest in You, knowing fully well that my children are secure in You and no purpose of Yours concerning my children can be thwarted (Job 42:2). Lord, this morning, resting fully on Your spoken word, I declare over my children that their lives will be “like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day”. We praise You for this grace and give You thanks for hearing and answering this prayer. In Jesus’ precious name, amen.
