Great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:23)
Heavenly Father, this morning as we come before You, we give You thanks for our children. Lord, we acknowledge that on this side of eternity our greatest blessing and reward is our children (Psalm 127:3) and for this, we will forever be grateful to You. Lord, we thank You that thus far in every season in the lives of our children, You have shown Yourself to be One who has been faithful to them: faithful to protect, faithful to preserve, and faithful to provide. This year as our children get ready to cross over into a new season of their lives, Lord, we thank You that You will continue to be faithful to them. Lord, our declaration today is that in this new season, the song in our mouth concerning our children will be this: “great is Thy faithfulness”. Father, we thank You that it is because of Your faithfulness to Your promises that our children, in this season, will accomplish and fulfill their God-given purpose. We thank You that in this school year, our children will be blessed and will be a blessing. In Jesus’ precious name, amen.
