Let the Redeemed Say So

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so… (Psalm 107:2)

Thought: We all have benefited from all that Christ has done for us; He has rescued us and delivered us from the dominion of darkness (Colossians 1:13) and everything that had us bound. All these benefits we have received not because of anything we did but because of His great love for us. What is our response to all that we have benefited through Christ’s work of redemption? Yes, we need to give thanks to God, but the Bible also tells us to talk about and declare with our mouths the things God has redeemed us from. There is something about “saying” what we believe God has done for us that causes that area of deliverance to manifest in our lives. Remember: our hearts believe, our mouths confess, His salvation manifests (Romans 10:9).

Prayer: Lord, this I say today because I believe these things in my heart: I have been redeemed from all my sins, I have been redeemed from every sickness, I have been redeemed from fear, anxiety, and discouragement, I have been redeemed from poverty and lack, my mind has been redeemed from all negative thoughts. Lord Jesus, all these benefits I have received because of what You did for me on the cross, but today I appropriate every one of these areas I have been redeemed from by saying this with my mouth. In Jesus’ name, amen.
