Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other. The LORD listened and took note, and a scroll of remembrance was written in his presence about those who fear the LORD and honor His name. (Malachi 3:16)
Thought: God takes note of our conversations. We all get very busy at times with our day-to-day responsibilities, but I want to encourage you to take/find some time to talk with other people who love the Lord. These conversations will not only refresh us, but our conversations with other believers have great value in the presence of God. Many times it is through these conversations we have with other believers that we hear the voice of the Holy Spirit giving us counsel, direction, and guidance. God takes pleasure in our fellowship with other believers.
Prayer: Father, I know that You have created us to be in fellowship with other believers and I pray I will not miss out on this blessing. Lord, if there be any roadblocks or hindrances that prevent me from experiencing the fullness of this blessing, I pray today that You will remove these hindrances. I pray You will use my words to be a blessing to someone today and above all I pray that the conversations I have with others will bring You great pleasure. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
